Dr. Ravindra H. Patil is dedicated to improving outcomes for high-risk neonates in the Marathwada region. With a focus on providing cost-effective solutions, he leverages the latest advancements in technology to ensure the best possible care for newborns, including those born as early as 23 weeks and weighing just 400 grams. His approach to neonatal care is comprehensive, combining medical expertise with a holistic perspective to address the complete well-being of these fragile patients.
Dr. Patil’s academic background is equally impressive. He earned a Fellowship in Neonatal Care from the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) in 2020. He completed his postgraduate studies in pediatrics at the prestigious MGM Medical College and Research Institute in Ch. Sambhaji Nagar, after earning his MBBS degree in 2010 from the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. Additionally, he has participated in the NNF Preterm Care E-module, further enhancing his skills in caring for preterm infants.

● Gone through the requirements of the project.
● Played a major role in designing of checklist and protocols and their implementations
along with skill development of nursing staff.
Brief description of the project:
It is a continuous project to reduce incidence of unplanned extubations by following
protocols and checklist and daily huddles with bundle care approach & thereby to reduce
complications related to unplanned extubation.
It was a Quality Improvement (QI) project.
Achieved set targets successfully i.e <1 per 100 ventilator days
● Expert in training programs for nursing staff and neonatologists for efficient work
in neonatal units.
● Trained more that 100 para medical staff so far at Deogiri Hospital, Ch. Sambhaji
Nagar and Endoworld Hospital, Ch. Sambhaji Nagar.
● Developing a NICU EMR app for improving the NICU care with technology.
